Got a killer treat recipe or a go-to salad that you can whip up? Why not make one for the salad bar or bake table. To donate a salad to the salad table and/or to donate a baked good to the bake sale please e-mail Joanna Barrs at email@example.com to let her know what you will be bringing.
Bring out your books!
Looking to do some fall cleaning? We want your stuff. Namely your gently used books, DVDs, games, and costumes, which will go in the book (and other stuff) sale. Please bring your donations to the back foyer of the school by the lost and found.
For the first time, Humewood will have a Pop-up Market at the Fall Fair. Meet and explore a few local small businesses while the kiddos hit the bouncy castle for the eight millionth time!
This is a great addition to the already fantastic line up of activities!
Vendors pay a rental fee for the opportunity to sell their wares and keep the profits made from sales at the fair. If you are a small business owner yourself and would like to partake in the popup please connect with Nicole Marques for further details at firstname.lastname@example.org.

We have a new judge joining us this year – Ann Marie Whitten of The Great Canadian Baking Show.
A contestant in Season 2, Ann Marie is super-excited to support kids’ love of baking. So much so that she’ll be giving out a very special Baker’s Choice Award. Yay!
Q: I have two (or more) kids. Can they do a combined entry? A: Sure, but there will only be one prize. Also, if they are in different age groups (i.e. one is in K-3 the other is 4-8) they will be categorized in one of those groups at the organizer’s discretion.
Q: Can my child have more than one entry? A: Absolutely! If they’re up for the work and you’re willing to let your kitchen get extra demoed, go for it!
Q: Oh no, we’re running late! Can you just get my kid’s cupcakes in for judging anyway? A: We’ll do what we can since we know your little baker worked hard, but if you arrive after 11:00AM, we can’t guarantee they’ll be eligible for a prize.
Q: Who’s judging the cupcakes? A: We have a crack panel of cupcake lovers, including the principal and VP, teachers and some of our sponsors. And of course, everyone can cast their own ballot for the People’s Choice award. Just buy a cupcake to receive your ballot.
